Life Safety Code and Casinos

Could anyone find the exit by looking for the exit sign? It
is actually harder than it appears from the picture,
because the picture was taken at an elevation. This
casino undoubtedly follows NFPA 101, but exit signs
are camouflaged by the multitude of other attention
-drawing lights. To follow the spirit as well as the details
of the code, numerous intermediate "TO EXIT" signs are
needed, but that would conflict with the intent of the
design of the room, which is retain patrons as long as
possible. The sight of an exit or exit sign could cause
people to think about leaving.
